Rockdale Music Performance Studio is a performance-based
music school. Using traditional "rock and roll" instruments:
acoustic guitar, electric guitar, bass guitar, keyboard, drums and vocals,
we provide firm grounding in the basic fundamentals of music as well
as an emphasis on popular music of the student’s choosing. We
believe the best way to learn is by doing and we give our students the
tools they need to go out and play in public in whatever venue suits
their style, from intimate to standing room only!

Guitar School (Ages 6 to adult)
Everyone wants to learn how to play the guitar at one point in their
life, right? So why not start right now at the Rockdale Guitar School?
We offer private lessons with several different approaches to learning
the most popular instrument out there!
Our guitar instructors work with acoustic guitar students ages 4 through
adult—beginner, intermediate and advanced students. If you want
to play slammin’ electric or bass we’ve got that covered
as well. Whether acoustic, electric or bass, our top notch staff of
professional musicians can teach you all you need to know about performing
and playing. They structure each lesson to suit the individual needs
of their students. The ability to play the guitar is a very useful skill
that you can take with you throughout your life!

Keyboard School (Ages 4 to adult)
Our staff of wonderfully talented musicians are inspired to get the
keyboard in your child’s life and under his fingers. Using several
different methods, we choose the instructional method that best suits
each student’s needs. We mix it up with some best loved songs
and even teach special requests. Whether or not your child becomes a
true blue piano/keyboarder, he will enjoy the process of learning the
most popular instrument of all, the piano.

Vocal Performance School (Ages 7 to adult)
Is your child the next "American Idol"? Perhaps the lead role
in the local school or community theatre show? Our goal is to instill
the confidence and knowledge they need to get there!
This fun, fast paced lesson is as individualized as the student, catering
to his or her needs and strengths. Each student will learn music theory,
sight reading, solfege, pitch control, proper breathing technique as
well as working with a microphone. Audition preparation and different
song styles will also be covered. We will also team vocal students with
fellow musicians at Rockdale to cultivate a band of their own!

Drum School (Ages 6 to adult)
Our Drum School is the perfect place to release your
energy! Whether you’re interested in rudimental drumming with
a marching band or going wild on stage with a rock band, Rockdale's
Drum School will give the chops you need to succeed.
We teach the fundamentals to all of our students. We also listen to
their interests and create customized programs that will help them succeed
in achieving their goals. When a Rockdale drum student advances to the
drum set, we keep them motivated by teaching them how to play their
favorite songs and always encourage jammin' along to their CDs.

Rockdale Jam Band
IT’S TIME TO JAM!
This exciting course puts kids with similar musical interests together
in bands. With the guidance of our Rockdale teachers, they will pick
songs, learn them, rehearse them and ultimately play them LIVE for families
