Ready to turn up the volume on your child’s summer? Enroll them in Rock Camp Jr. at Rockdale Music – the ultimate week-long experience where young musicians explore the world of rock ‘n’ roll!
Join us this summer for a one-week session at Rock Camp Jr. at Rockdale. It’s a great opportunity for kids (ages 7-10) to learn more about different instruments and decide which instrument they might pursue private instruction at the studio. There is no prior musical experience necessary for Rock Camp Jr.
Our mission for Rock Camp Jr. is to expose campers and outline the basic fundamentals of Rock & Roll instruments including guitar and bass, drums and percussion, piano and keyboard, as well as singing with microphones.

Camp Times: 9:00 am to 3:00 pm Monday-Friday (pack a peanut-free lunch)
There is a show on Friday @ 2:30pm on our stage at the conclusion of each camp week.

Refunds & Withdrawals
- Withdrawals requested two weeks before the first day of camp will be fully refunded (minus a 5% processing fee). You may also choose a 100% credit towards lessons or programs at Rockdale Music & Studios.
- Withdrawals received within two weeks before the first day of camp will be 50% refunded. You may also choose a 100% credit towards lessons or programs at Rockdale Music & Studios.
- Withdrawals made on or after the first day of the program will not be credited or refunded.
- Lesson and program credits may be used for up to one year for any member of the family.

What will my child learn at Rock Camp Jr.?
Your child will get hands-on experience with guitar, bass, drums, keyboard, and vocals, while learning about music theory, rhythm, note reading, ear training, and more. They’ll also create their own instruments, play fun musical games, and prepare for a live performance at the end of the week.

What is the schedule for Rock Camp Jr.?
Rock Camp Jr. runs from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm, Monday through Friday. The week concludes with a live performance on Friday at 2:30 pm.
How much does Rock Camp Jr. cost?
Rock Camp Jr. is $450/week. We offer sibling and multiple-week discounts, as well as an early bird discount for those who register before March 1st.
Withdrawals requested two weeks before the first day of camp will be fully refunded (minus a 5% processing fee) or you can choose a 100% credit towards lessons or programs at Rockdale Music & Studios. Withdrawals within two weeks of camp start date will be 50% refunded or receive a 100% credit. Withdrawals on or after the first day of camp are not eligible for a refund or credit.
