Rock Camp Jr. at Rockdale

Join us this summer for a one-week session at Rock Camp Jr. @ Rockdale. It’s a great opportunity for kids (ages 7-10) to learn more about different instruments and decide which instrument they might pursue private instruction at the studio. There is no prior musical experience necessary for Rock Camp Jr.

Our mission for Rock Camp Jr. is to expose campers and outline the basic fundamentals of Rock & Roll instruments including guitar and bass, drums and percussion, piano and keyboard, as well as singing with microphones.

Week 4 | 8/5 – 8/9 (ages 7-10) SOLD OUT!

Week 5 | 8/19 – 8/23 (ages 7-10) SOLD OUT! 

Camp Times: 9:00 am to 3:00 pm Monday-Friday (pack a peanut-free lunch)

There is a show on Friday @ 2:30pm on our stage at the conclusion of each camp week.

Camp After Care

Monday-Thursday 3:00-5:00 pm – $25/day

Price is per child, per day

Each Week Campers Will:

  • Have hands on, interactive experiences with keyboard, guitar, drums, and vocal exercises
  • Learn about and use professional sound equipment
  • Play fun games that will allow the kids to explore rhythm and movement
  • Learn about basic music theory, note reading, rhythm, ear training, skill development, and musicianship and more
  • Create musical instruments and other art projects
  • Perform their favorite popular music
  • Put on a show at the end of the week!

Rock Camp JR. Tuition

$ 395 Per Week
  • Sibling discount is $25 off for the 2nd camper and each additional camper
  • $25 off for the 2nd week and each additional week
  • Register before March 1st for $20 early enrollment discount

Refunds & Withdrawals

  • Withdrawals requested two weeks before the first day of camp will be fully refunded (minus a 5% processing fee). You may also choose a 100% credit towards lessons or programs at Rockdale Music & Studios. 
  • Withdrawals received within two weeks before the first day of camp will be 50% refunded. You may also choose a 100% credit towards lessons or programs at Rockdale Music & Studios. 
  • Withdrawals made on or after the first day of the program will not be credited or refunded. 
  • Lesson and program credits may be used for up to one year for any member of the family.
