Registration is open to perform for the Spring Showcase June 6-7th!

Recital Information and Registration

Recital registration instructions are further down the page, but please read the terms and conditions below before you begin the registration process.  
  • Rock Band, Rock Band Jr. and Songwriting Class members are automatically included in the program. Only solo recital performers are required to register for a performance slot.
  • Rock Band, Rock Band Jr., Songwriting class students are not eligible to participate in the solo performance portion of the showcase.
  • All private lesson students with current membership are encouraged to participate in the recital, but spaces are limited.
  • Each Rockdale student with current private lesson membership can register for ONE performance slot.
  • Performers will be limited to 3-5 minutes per performance slot.
  • If you require a backing track for your performance, send tracks for accompaniment to info@rockdalemusic.com
  • The deadline to register for the recital is Friday, May 22nd, 2026. 
  • All amps, keyboards, drums, mics, cables, etc… will be provided. Guitarists, Bassists, and Ukulele players should bring their instruments and picks. Drummers should bring their sticks.
  • Performers can wear whatever they like (most performers tend to go with more of a Rock & Roll vibe).
  • You DO NOT need to purchase tickets for performers. All other guests will be required to purchase a ticket for entry.
  • Solo performers are required to stay for the duration of their recital block to support their Rockdale peers. Rock Band members are encouraged to come after 3:00 pm and stay for the entirety of the group portion of the showcase to support all of the other bands. 

Recital registration instructions

Here’s a quick tutorial video to help guide you through the recital registration process and step-by-step directions to register for the solo performance and recital portion of the showcase are listed below – 
  1. Follow this link to register for the recital portion of the showcase
  2. Sign in to your Opus1 account with your email and password or with your Google account. (Click the GET A LOGIN LINK BY EMAIL button if you don’t remember your password)
  3. Scroll down and select the box that says “Spring Showcase 2026” with the date, times, and sessions
  4. The Pick your payment plan box will default to “Recital Registration” (there is no fee to register for the recital)
  5. Select your preferred recital block to register for your recital performance slot *Rock Band/Rock Band Jr. DO NOT need to register to perform and are automatically included)
  6. Click the “Book” button at the bottom right-hand corner of the page to continue
  7. Select a participant (please select the student name under the drop-down box if you are signed in under a parent/guardian/account manager profile
  8. Highlight your teacher under the “Select a staff” tab
  9. Check the box to agree to the terms and conditions
  10. Click “Book” And you’re done
